Pre-Kindergarten Program (4 – 5 Years)
This program prepares children academically and socially for a smooth transition into Kindergarten It is uniquely modeled to correspond with the curriculum and activities of Kindergarten, which makes us confident children will prosper in the next step of their education. Children learn how to share, take turns and work in groups. They also develop skills that form the foundation for reading, writing and mathematics.
While part of their day includes many of the choices they enjoyed in Preschool, more time is spent focused on activities such as studying patterns, investigating one of their five senses or developing ideas related to their similarities and differences. Each month, our teachers choose activities based on the unique developmental needs and interests of the children in their program. These theme-based activities are incorporated into the weekly curriculum to expand the children’s knowledge.
