Junior Pre-Kindergarten

Children must be 3 years old by September 1, 2024 and fully potty-trained to enter our 2024-25 Junior Pre-K Program.

As three-year-olds gain more self-esteem, they often feel ready to take on the world. In Junior Pre-K, we foster that confidence by providing activities to help children become problem-solvers and lifelong learners.

A typical day in Junior Pre-K is designed to transition children through guided activities that support their development and challenge their growth. By following a theme approach, teachers can build on developmental changes by exploring more abstract curriculum units, such as “Space,” “Flourishing Farms,” or “Nocturnal Animals”.

Our Junior Pre-K program introduces the building blocks on which our Pre-Kindergarten program is constructed and prepares your child for a gradually increasing academic focus. We encourage individual growth in each curriculum area from reading to math, and social studies to science.
